JAYME BONE

Jayme from Wantage, Oxford, has been riding for 24 years 17 in Endurance. She has previously ridden in British Teams including: Young Rider European Championships Cirencester 1997, World Championships Compeigne 2000, World Championships Jerez 2002 and has successes including;YR National Champion 1999.
She rides KRAYAAN JESRA an 11 year old liver chestnut Arab stallion, who also does Dressage and also covers mares (his first foal being born June 2007)

Their best results so far being, 2nd. in 120kmNewmarket 2006, 8th. + Best Conditioned Euston Park 2006.
Crewed by Jenny Lees, Jackie Pitts,Adam Prior and Alex Nix, Jayme ambition for 2007 is 'Gold' at Portugal Championships. 

 

FIONA HAMILTON

Fiona is from Horsham, West Sussex, has been riding for 16 years 10 in Endurance.She has been a member of British Young Riders Team. Successes include U21 National Champion 2006, AHS Marathon win 2006, 2 * Gold - 1 * Silver Golden Horseshoe.

She rides SHARIFAH, a 9 years old 15.3 Grey Arab Mare, she has owned for three years.
Their best result being 1st. in Dutch National & International Championships 2007, with an impressive 20 minutes lead over the 2nd. placed rider.
Crewed by David & Jean Hamilton, Rosemary Attfield and Bob Moody, Fiona also has 'Gold' in Portugal as her 2007 ambition.

 

NICKY SHERRY

Nicky is from Bodmin, Cornwall, has been riding Endurance for nearly 30 years.She was in the Intermediate Team 1995, British Team Italy 2001.

For 17 years Nicky has been training and competing from her base on Bodmin Moor.Nicky has had many successes with many of her horses.
She rides SHIMMERING BLUE JASMINE (Jaz) her home bred 11 years old 15.1 Chestnut Arab Mare out of Lavanda (Lavanda is still with Nicky, and also was a successful Endurance horse, 3rd. 120km Bodmin Moor 1993) Their best result to date being 15th. at 160km Cirencester 2006.

Christine is from Shepton Mallet, Somerset, has been riding Endurance for 10 years. Christine has Team experience at Punchestown European Championships and Aachen World Championships. She has enjoyed many successes with her horses: 1st. Cirencester 160km 2006, 1st. Fastna Trail - Holland 160km 2006, 1st. Argenatan - France 120km. 2006, 17th. Aachen World Championships.

She rides FAROUK DE LOZELLE 15 year old 15.1 grey Arab Gelding, owning him for 3 years, and with whom she attained 1st. Ermelo Holland 160km 2006 and L.M.TAQUILLERO 10 years old 15hh Chestnut Arab Gelding, owned for 4 years with 1st. Cirencester 160km 2006, 17th. Aachen WEG 2006, 5th. Sally is from Bristol, and now rides
Sire De Bozouls. Sally has been riding for 46 years, competing in Endurance for 17 years. She was a team member at Southwell, Morhaix (winning Gold), Compiegne (winning Silver), Punchestown, a team member in last years European Championships and was reserve at Ferez. In the French Championships at Florac she was placed in the top 20. In 2005 she was placed in the 160km at Le Vigaw.

 

 
 
 
 
 
Linda Hams

Linda who is from Thetford, in Norfolk, has been competing in endurance for 10 years and has two horses.  Hidden Challenge (s. Simeon Sadik d. Hidden Jewel) a 9 year old 15.2hh chestnut Arab gelding, whose best result was 4th in the 2005 160km FEI 3* at Euston Park, and who she will be riding at Aachen.  Her other horse is 13 year old Arabian Perfeq Camilla May bred by Michael Harris in Devon.  This is a 14.1hh grey mare that she has owned for 7 years and whose best result was 4th in the Dutch National Championships in 2004, an 160km FEI 3* event, and she won the 80km ER at Cranwell in 2006 on the same horse. She was a member of the Intermediate team in 2003 at Compiegne.
Linda’s crew consists of Steve Beresford, Georgina and Penny Bull and Peggy Sofley.

 
 
 
 
Susan Hawes

Susan, from Hartfield in East Sussex, has been competing in endurance for 20 years.  She was on the 1997 Intermediate team representing Great Britain in Belgium, which she won riding her stallion, Kazal.  In the same year she was a member of the Senior Team which competed in the European Championships in Italy.  Susan has trained four horses to achieve 160km in a day and has had many major wins, including the 2005 National Championship riding Anne Newton’s Dahlih.  She has trained with former World Champion endurance rider Valerie Kanavy in the USA and with top professional rider Jack Begaud in France.  In 2006 Susan rode across the Andes from Argentina to Chile in aid of the Teenage Cancer Trust.

In 2006 the late Marcy Pavord offered Susan the opportunity to compete in several FEI rides in France on her talented mare Jade Rani (Dhruv / Silver Sheba).  As Jade’s new owner Susan completed 160km at the FEI *** event at Dukeries in May 2007.

Susan is crewed by her husband, Kevin.  Their twins, David and Caroline, will be eleven in 2007, the first year of their endurance riding careers.
