Junior Riders

Junior Riders are aged between 8 and 13 years of age - For all age categories a rider’s age is deemed to change on 1 January.  Membership runs from 1 January to 31 December and there is no Joining Fee.  Juniors are eligible for all EGB activities except ERs, but have no voting rights.

All Junior Riders must be accompanied by a nominated mounted adult (18 years old or over) until they have reached their 13th birthday (i.e. their actual birthday and not the year in which they become 13 years old).

Juniors may not compete at distances in excess of 50km until they have reached their 11th birthday.

‘Temporary Day Member’ Juniors of less than 14 years entering NCRs (Pleasure Rides) must be accompanied by a mounted adult of 18 years or over.
