The KBIS National Pleasure Ride Trophy.

Sponsored by KBIS British equestrian Insurance. This is an exciting new venture for the Newbury based business, keen supporters of many disciplines throughout the equestrian world.

Liz Prest of KBIS British equestrian insurance said: “We are delighted to be supporting the Pleasure Ride Championship.

“Many thousands of people gain great enjoyment for riding out in the countryside and such horse owners and rides are as equally important to us as the top competition rider and their super league horses”.

This competition is open to all combinations taking part in any Pleasure rides organized by EGB, SERC, BHS and their affiliated Riding Clubs.

Local Group, Social and Training rides will count towards the Trophy but not towards the four vetted rides required for qualification.

Any combinations who are not members of EGB or SERC will have to ride as Temporary Day Members.

 

 

There will be a fee of £5.00 to register each horse and rider combination which can be done by sending an S.A.E. to Endurance GB, N.A.C. Stoneleigh Park, Kenilworth, CV8 2RP. You may register more than one combination. You can download the Pleasure Ride Trophy Registration form from the Forms Page

Each combination will receive a Trophy specific Mastercard which must be signed by the Technical Steward at every ride.

All distances of pleasure rides between 10km and 40km as advertised in the EGB, SERC, BHS or Riding Club handbooks to count.

All rides to be ridden between 8kph and 12kph.

To qualify for this trophy at least four of the rides must be either EGB or SERC vetted rides and must be completed successfully.

Points allocated on the basis of 1 point per km covered successfully. The registered combination with the most points at the end of the year wins the Trophy.

Points will not be added retrospectively to unregistered combinations.
