The Performance Equestrian Endurance Challenge Series

Performance Equestrian a leading mail order and internet distribution company specialising in products and equipment for riders who love the thrill and excitement of Endurance riding, have very generously agreed to sponsor this new class.

:

The series consists of nominated (see below) multi day Competitive Rides. One ride, which should be completed successfully, must be an 80 km CR, the other ride to be a distance of choice but must be a CR of between 32km and 80km. Both classes to be declared prior to the ride closing date but the rider may downgrade on chosen distance if they wish.

To compete for the Trophy a horse and rider combination must successfully complete at least three rides of the series.

The combination will have to succeed on both days for the points to count towards the Trophy and prizes, but normal EGB points will count for any class ridden successfully on either day.

Points for each ride will be calculated at the end of the season and will be awarded on the basis of distance and the Performance Formula scores to find a series winner.  Normal distance and grading points to be awarded each day as for any CR except at GHS where the Gold, Silver and Bronze rules will apply.

There will be a Trophy and £300.00 to the winner, £150.00 to the second placed combination and £50.00 to the third combination.

Special rosettes will be given to all competitors who complete each ride.

All combinations of horse and rider will need to register to take part in the series and should send an S.A.E. to the office at Stoneleigh, they will then be issued with a “Series Card” which should be completed and signed by the Technical Steward on the day of the ride.

Points may not be added retrospectively. Please send your card to the Results Secretary by October 28th 2010
