Beth Langley (16) from Tregaron, Wales I have been riding since I was 3 and I've been doing endurance for 8 years now, I started on an 11hh Sec A nicknamed Fluffball then took over my Dad's ride Elin a 14hh Sec C and competed on the Welsh team 5 times winning gold 4 times, I did my first ER on Dad's arab Xerina at Cirencester in 2006 and got 3rd place. I then rode my own pony Ametista a 14hh grey polish arab at the Northern Championships and she got 2nd in her first ER, straight after that I tried qualifying for the British Team at the FEI 120km at Red Dragon and came over the line 1st but unfortunately got vetted out, We then qualified at Dukeries in 2007 coming 4th. The highlight of my endurance career was on my birthday when I was in Egypt because that day I found out by email that I had been selected for the British Team to ride 120km in Germany, unfortunately again after Ametista put on a brilliant performance we got vetted out at the end, though I thoroughly enjoyed the experience and the Team won 2nd. My crew consist of my Mum, Dad and brother William. My aim for the future is to represent Britain again and ultimately win a gold medal.
