It has a few quirky rules. As a racing TB he was a sprinter and had to retire due to an injury. The entry fee is £5.\u003cbr\u003eAfter walking down to the starting point we all ensemble in a group.\u003cbr\u003eThe race starts and everyone goes together. I had decided if we were to win I need to stay near the front runners. So off we went, two were heading off at full speed so we caught up. We were struggling to stay behind due to the ground and Merlin’s long stride. So I overtook the two front runners and stayed there until the finish.
